Code of Conduct
PGConf.Asia 2026 follows the PostgreSQL Code of Conduct so technical discussion, community collaboration, and social time remain professional, respectful, and welcoming.
Community expectations
- Be respectful in technical disagreement and assume good faith while making room for different experience levels.
- Keep conference spaces welcoming for PostgreSQL users, contributors, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, and first-time attendees.
- Do not harass, intimidate, or exclude people based on identity, background, employer, technical preference, or community role.

If something urgent happens during the event, conference staff and volunteers will help you reach a committee member as quickly as possible.
Where this applies
The Code of Conduct applies to official conference sessions, sponsor areas, hallway conversations, social events, online conference spaces, and volunteer or speaker communication connected to PGConf.Asia 2026.
The conference also recognizes the PostgreSQL community Code of Conduct as the baseline for community behavior.
Confidentiality
Reports will be handled with care and shared only with people who need the information to respond appropriately.
The committee may consult PostgreSQL community leadership or legal/venue contacts when required for safety, compliance, or event operations.
